Mainstreaming of disability inclusion, participation, and partnerships
- [22 April 2020] The Ministry of Social Affairs has published a circular letter from the Director-General of Social Rehabilitation on instructions related to the protection of persons with disabilities during the pandemic. In addition, it has circulated guidelines on psychosocial support for persons with disabilities and guidelines for social workers.

- [19 June 2020] The Ministry of Social Affairs has held a COVID-19 rapid test for community social workers, including those with disabilities.

[18 March 2020] The government has provided sign language interpretation services for televised COVID-19 updates in response to requests from the deaf community.

- [8 July 2020] The WHO has been working with the Ministry of Health to map and address the mental health needs of persons with disabilities.
Social protection and employment support
- [22 April 2020] Cash social assistance would be transferred to the accounts of persons with disabilities or delivered by mail.
- [25 April 2020] The Minister of Social Affairs has launched basic food assistance for 7,072 persons with disabilities. A total of 11,835 food packages have been distributed to older persons and persons with disabilities affected by COVID-19. The Ministry of Social Affairs has been overseeing the distribution of social assistance to ensure that it reaches target groups such as the poor and the vulnerable.
- [12 June 2020] The National Development Planning Agency has been working with the Ministry of Social Affairs and local governments to reregister persons with disabilities who lacked birth certificates and thus did not receive social aid.
Institutions and facilities
- [n.d.] The Directorate of Social Rehabilitation has issued guidelines for disability social welfare institutions, stressing the preference for online visits and the importance of screening visitors carefully when in person visits do occur.
- [4 April 2020] 6,000 food packages have been distributed to 276 social welfare institutions from the child cluster, and 700 food packages have been distributed to 22 social welfare institutions from the disability cluster throughout Jabodetabek.
- [24 April 2020] The Ministry of Social Affairs has provided logistic assistance for disability social welfare institutions.
