Mainstreaming of disability inclusion, participation, and partnerships
- [20 April 2020] The Ministry of Health has issued a manual on prevention of respiratory infections caused by COVID-19 for persons with disabilities in the community.
- [3 June 2020] The Agency of Health Examination and Treatment of the Ministry of Health has signed a memorandum of understanding on rehabilitation activities for persons with disabilities with eight NGOs. The head of the Agency has pointed out that rehabilitation activities could help the health recovery of critical COVID-19 infection cases.

- [4 June 2020] UNICEF has supported the Ministry of Education and Training in developing and implementing an inclusive distance learning strategy to ensure continued education during the pandemic, especially for the most vulnerable.

- [30 April 2020] The Ministry of Health has informed people of COVID-19 protection measures with a video in sign language.
- [11 May 2020] The UNDP has supported the national channel VTV1 to expand sign language interpretation during main news bulletins.
Social protection and employment support
- [9 April 2020] Hanoi has allocated 650 billion VND (28.2 million USD) to help the poor and other social beneficiaries through local branches of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- [16 April 2020] The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has allocated 300 million VND for the fight against the pandemic, focusing on supporting social policy beneficiaries and low-income households.
- [4 December 2020] Additional cash transfers of VND 500,000 per month have been offered to persons with disabilities.
