Mainstreaming of disability inclusion, participation, and partnerships
- [28 May 2020] A review by the National Council for Persons with Disabilities has been conducted amongst members of the disability community to further understand the experiences of persons with disabilities during the pandemic.
- [4 December 2020] To build a more inclusive post COVID-19 world, the National Council for Persons with Disabilities has launched three essential items to assist persons with disabilities, including the National Directory and Information on Disability services, the National Council for Persons with Disabilities website, and Dignity kits.
Medical and quarantine policies and processes

[17 August 2020] The National Council for Persons with Disabilities has worked with the Ministry of Health and Medical Services and the National Disaster Management Office to arrange a quarantine centre suitable for treating persons with disabilities.
Social protection and employment support
- [27 March 2020] Tax deduction for businesses employing persons with disabilities for three consecutive years would be increased from 300 to 400 per cent.
- [19 May 2020] The National Council for Persons with Disabilities provides updates on its Facebook page. For example, it has been announced that 20 affected persons with disabilities would receive relief packages.
